This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit maisonlesenerves.com or buy from us, why we use it, who we share it with and what your rights are. We keep it simple and we only collect what we need.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is ARISTOCRACY FAMILY LIMITED, trading as MAISON LES ÉNERVÉS, Champion Tower, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong 999077. For any privacy question, write to contact@maisonlesenerves.com.

2. The data we collect

Identity and contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery addresses.
Order details: products bought, sizes, amounts, order history, returns and exchanges.
Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
Account and preferences: if you create an account or subscribe to our emails, your login details and marketing preferences.
Messages: what you send us by email, through our contact form or customer service tools.
Browsing data: device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

To process and deliver your order, handle returns and exchanges, and answer your questions (performance of our contract with you).
To keep accounting and tax records and prevent fraud (legal obligations and our legitimate interest in securing payments).
To send you news, launches and offers by email or SMS (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us).
To measure and improve the site and show you relevant ads (your consent to non-essential cookies, given through the cookie banner).

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers who help us run the shop, and only for the purposes above:

Shopify, which hosts our online store and checkout;
our payment providers, to process your payment securely;
DHL Express, to deliver your order and handle customs;
our email and SMS marketing provider (Klaviyo), if you have subscribed;
our customer service, returns and product review tools;
analytics and advertising partners such as Meta and Google, only if you have accepted the related cookies.

We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong and some of our providers are located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. When your data is transferred, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep order and invoicing data for as long as required by accounting and tax laws. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe, and other data only as long as needed for the purposes above.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site and checkout to work. Analytics and advertising cookies are only used with your consent, which you can give or change at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, and in particular under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

access your data and receive a copy of it;
correct inaccurate data;
ask us to delete your data;
restrict or object to its use, including for direct marketing;
receive your data in a portable format;
withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, email contact@maisonlesenerves.com. We answer within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example the CNIL in France).

9. Security and minors

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Our site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
