Our Campaign: what if the artists we hang on walls were still walking around?
A small tribute to the artists we love. We asked ourselves a simple question: if they were alive today, who would they be? Frida, Vincent, Mona Lisa. Not in a frame, not behind glass. Out in Paris at night, together.
Frida draws an eyebrow on the steps of the Petit Palais, finds Mona Lisa and Vincent, and takes the wheel of a 1930s Renault bus. We tried to hide a piece of their real story in almost every scene: the eyebrow Mona Lisa never had, Vincent's ear, the sunflowers, the tequila, the man with the umbrella, and the bus that changed Frida's life.
This film also opens Les Énervés Club. In French, énervé means angry. But in Parisian slang it also means the ones who live loud: who go out, dance until sunrise, travel and enjoy life to the fullest. That's the meaning we wear. Maison fondée sans colère.
